Nick Halkes (aka Nick Reach Up) drops 80s disco, boogie and proto house, evoking the spirit of legendary NYC clubs such as Paradise Garage and Studio 54. They’ll dip into the rich soundtrack that emerged as the 70s turned into the 80s forming the DNA of today’s club music and mesh the set with the freshest productions, remixes and re-edits that they have sourced or can find!
"All About Islands are two DJ/Producers from Bermuda . In Jan '24 they sold everything but the decks , left their island home and became musical nomads , making funky house music and playing DJ sets around the world.
Last year they had a Number 1 Traxsource Nu-Disco hit , a UK club top 10 , a Beatport Top 3 Nu disco chart entry and made the iTunes dance charts in 29 countries including a No 1. in Colombia and No.3 in Brazil & Norway . This year they have been teaming up with No.1 Nu-Disco mega -producer Block & Crown on various labels.
DJ Lady E is the daughter of a preacher man,and her first 'religious experience' was at a church revival. She says, "It's music, for some of us, that speaks through us, unifies us, and makes us whole." She's a professional dancer-percussionist-DJ, and globetrotter from NYC to Egypt to Spain. She landed in Bermuda where she teamed up with Felix , playing clubs, boats, the Bermuda Pride parade and drag brunches.
DJ / Producer Felix Tod owned a studio with Alan McGee during the Creation heyday , was mentored by producer Youth & went on to produce tracks with ATB , members of Supergrass ,Suede and Mercury Rev . His production work just hit 50 million streams . . As a film composer he had 2 BAFTA nominations for BBC Soundtracks . In Bermuda, he hosted the Breakfast radio show through & led Bermuda’s first 6000 strong Pride Parade .
