Please join us as we celebrate our in-person event on the Showa Boston campus! We welcome the chance to bring the Japanese learning community together for this special event.
Share your learning experiences, enjoy live performances featuring anime and J-POP music by local musicians, and participate in Japanese culture-based events with the aid of the Showa Women’s University students.
Food, music, anime, games & more, plus FREE parking.

- Conversation with Showa Women’s University students
- Japanese culture experience, including Tea Ceremony, Yokata try-on
- Light lunch at Showa Cafeteria
1:00 - 2:30 pm
- Live performances by Shiori Kubrick and Aztech from Hybrid Thoughts
- Exchange programs in Japan information: (2 weeks) and (1 year and longer).

Showa Boston was founded by Tokyo, Japan’s Showa Women’s University as a satellite campus for Japanese college students studying abroad in Boston.
About CEI:
Cultural Exchange Initiative (CEI) is a U.S.-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering cross-cultural understanding through educational and cultural exchange. Our flagship program, CEI Spark®, provides immersive short-term experiences in Japan to prepare participants for the competitive JET Program. In the U.S., we offer the Japanese language program through classes at Showa Boston, emphasizing practical language skills.
