About this Event
Re-discover Rwanda through the eyes of a Rwandan producer, exporter, importer and Roaster in a fun-filled evening of education and fundraising!
Founded in 2020, Michaelle has the mission of fostering positive chage in communities where coffee is grown, in particuularly women coffee farmers in Rwanda and beyond.
By improving living standards and the quality of produce of their renowned washing station and roasting facility, Michaelle now has wider goals to set higher standards further afield.
Join us and help Michaelle brew change to empower Women coffee farmers, improve lives and quality of coffee.
The goal is to raise money for a skills centrer and with your support, we will raise £25,000 to open the centre and offer courses for women farmers in:
- English, entrepreneurship, and hospitality
- Barista and cupping skills
- Financial literacy and income diversification
It will help women and youth earn income during the off-season — and build careers, not just crops.
We already have a building ready on the farm — we just need to equip it with coffee machines, roasting and cupping lab tools, classroom furniture, and local trainers.
This is Phase 1 of a £150,000 vision we hope to complete over the next 2 years.
Your donation brings us one step closer to empowering rural communities and redefining the future of African coffee.
