Learn how to do basic maintenance and repairs on your bike to extend its life and keep it out of the landfill! Join I Love A Clean San Diego and the City of Encinitas for our free Re-Cycle: Bike Repair Workshop at Cyclovia Encinitas on Sunday, May 17 at 10 a.m.
During this event, our partners at Leucadia Cyclery will perform basic bike assessments for safety and can demo simple repairs for those with specific maintenance questions. They'll also provide quick fixes such as light brake adjustments, tire inflating, and bolt tightening.
Attendees can also learn about proper recycling and disposal of bike parts and accessories like helmets, tires, chains, and other components.
