Join us to celebrate Women’s History Month with a mini-display and tour exploring the history of women in medicine at the RCP.
What early evidence can be found of women in medicine in the RCP records? Which woman became the biggest donor ever to the RCP Heritage Library? Which famous doctor and suffragist campaigned for the RCP to finally accept women members? Who were the women who paved the way for female doctors, members, fellows and president’s of the RCP?
Discover these stories and many more through a special mini-display and a tour.

5.30pm – 8pm
- Drop in to explore a mini-display with an expert
- Visit exhibition 'A body of knowledge' to discover 500 years of book collecting at the RCP
- Enjoy our artwork, medical instruments and other collections on display.
6.15pm
Join a specialist Women’s History Month tour featuring examples from our collections.
Regent’s Perk Café will be open for free tea/coffee throughout the evening.
