About this Event
Razed is a film about the Gas Plant Neighborhood in St. Petersburg, Florida—a Black neighborhood that was destroyed to make way for a baseball stadium. The film was produced by Roundhouse Creative, in partnership with Ms. Gwendolyn Reese of the St. Petersburg African American Heritage Association, and many of the displaced former residents of the Gas Plant Neighborhood. The film's launch and distribution is supported by The Foundation for a Healthy St. Petersburg.
Following the film, we will have a panel discussion from the film's Director, Historian, and locals from the gas plant neighborhood including the organization CONA.
