About this Event
Ravine Youth Team (RYT) is celebrating its 7th year of providing access and exposure to a variety of possible roles and career paths within the conservation sector, while also supporting projects that preserve and protect Toronto's incredible ravines.
Braiding Indigenous Ways of Knowing has always been a key component of this program. We are pleased to be joined by Dr Hopi Martin from Edge of The Bush who will lead us through an opening to start things off in a good way.
Following this opening, get a chance to meet and hear from RYT alumni during our live panel and Q&A. Participants will be invited to ask questions and learn from alumni about their experiences with the program and their career journeys.
Attending this gathering is a great way to gain a better understanding of this unique employment opportunity and whether it may be right for you. Refreshments, including vegan and gluten-free options, will be provided.
TRCA is proud to partner with the City of Toronto on this program, which is funded through . TRCA is committed to creating an accessible experience for all participants. If you require an accessibility accommodation, please email Jasmine Thompson at [email protected].
