About this Event
Join us at Little Nan's Bar 2.0 in Deptford on April 16th for our debut edition of Raven Sessions!
IMPORTANT - PLEASE NOTE THE VENUE IS LITTLE NAN'S BAR 2.0 AND NOT LITTLE NAN'S BAR WHICH IS DOWN THE ROAD
This is the start of what we intend to be a community for grassroots artists and a promotion agency founded by queer, disabled and trans artists!
Our aim is to set a standard for fairer pay for performers and crew in the grassroots industry while maintaining a fun, inclusive, accessibility first approach to all our events.
For our first event we've got a stellar lineup planned:
Mona the Romantic
Vulnerable and rebellious, she portrays emotions and stories that intentionally seek to connect the audience with their demons, hopes, and losses. Her music offers shelter to those who seek understanding and belonging and will create discomfort for those who are unwilling to look inside themselves. Mona will shoot an arrow straight to the heart unapologetically.
Mona is a dear friend of ours and a key part of the Face the Raven core team.
Divided Compass
5 piece indie pop/rock powerhouse - expect euphoric positive pop, jangly indie elements and a strident radio rock vibe.
Josh and Roo of Divided Compass are also the co-founders of Face The Raven!
City Lake
Guildford indie pop/rock four-piece writing songs of heartbreak, raw emotion and unspoken truths, lifted with a unifying spirit.
Since 2024, they’ve entered a new chapter full of high-energy shows, fans singing and dancing along, and a sound that feels both vulnerable and electric.
They're also just really lovely human beings and we're so excited to have them on the lineup!
DJ Funmilayo
They/them Capricorn who does the most and is allergic to rest. Expect DJ'ing, Gaya$$ Poetry, Serving Cxnt, Fashion & more baby **
We have DJ Funmilayo closing out the night and setting the perfect vibe for the dancefloor. A fitting end to a fabulous night🤘
