Boris Bond follows the call of the West Balkan mountain ranges and the waves of Southern California. While our foundation is rooted in classic surf sound and instrumental surf music is a major influence, the music of Bosnia—where one of our guitarists was born and raised—and punk (every member has a punk band background) are just as vital to our musical DNA. Our mission is to capture moods, play with them, and spark cinematic daydreams. That’s why our debut album is called "Sounds of Movies Never Made" (released by Surf Cookie Records, Greece).
A friend once commented on their demo video:
"This is the perfect music for world peace… Eastern scales and American instruments, peacefully and harmoniously in love!"

Boris Bond folgt dem Ruf der Berglandschaften Westbalkans und der Wellen Südkaliforniens. Obwohl wir klassischen Surfsound haben und instrumentale Surfmusik zu unseren wichtigsten Einflüssen gehört, sind Musik aus Bosnien, wo einer unserer Gitarristen geboren und aufgewachsen ist, und Punk (alle Mitglieder spielten vorher in Punkbands) auch ein wesentlicher Bestandteil unserer musikalischen Handschrift. Unsere Mission ist es, Stimmungen einzufangen, mit ihnen zu spielen und ins Kopfkino zu bringen. Daher heißt unser Debut „Sounds of Movies Never Made“(veröffentlicht von Surf Cookie Records, Griechenland).
