About this Event
Every child must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. You only need to book a ticket for the child, not the parent/guardian.
Please cancel your ticket if you cannot attend, so others can register. If you book a ticket and don't attend, we may have to prevent you making other bookings to ensure others can attend.
Sunday 22nd - 1:15pm
Ramadan Decorations
It’s time to make this auspicious month obvious. Adorn your house with craft made by your children.
Hang a Ramadan Olive Reef on your front door or in your living room on the window! Make a Fanoos typically seen beautifying the streets in Muslim countries. Add bunting to your fireplace, door or window. We need to shout out “It’s Ramadan”!
Sunday 1st March - 1:15pm
Ramadan Moon
The moon is key in the Muslim faith and plays a huge role in Ramadan. We’re making a feature of it.
Let’s make a moon with stars and hang it up to mark this month. And to really learn further about the moon phases, the children get to make a moon phase wheel to identify how far we’ve come in Ramadan. Countdown opportunities!
Sunday 8th March - 1:15pm
Laylatul Qadr
The Night of Decree. The night we all wait for.
A display that tells us the story of Laylatul Qadr breaks down the night of revelation. This can be carefully put together whilst the story comes to life. Add a large standing angel to signify the importance of the the job of Angel Jibrael on this night…and beyond. Encourage dua with personalised prayer hands. This is a lovely opportunity for the children to think about what they are grateful for and what they can make dua for.
