This year we mark two milestones: the 40th Anniversary of the Mongolia & Inner Asia Studies Unit (MIASU) at the University of Cambridge and the 5th Anniversary of the Cambridge Mongolian Cultural Society (CMCS). We warmly invite you to celebrate the Mongolian Lunar New Year – Tsagaan Sar with us.
Grounded in Mongolia’s ancient nomadic heritage, Tsagaan Sar marks the end of winter and the beginning of spring. Our event welcomes people from Mongolian cultural backgrounds, as well as anyone interested in Mongolian culture.
This festive annual gathering offers a wonderful opportunity to experience Mongolia’s rich nomadic heritage and to connect with Mongolians in Cambridge and the wider community.
