Ralph Heidel ist ein Komponist, Arrangeur, Produzent, Soundforscher und Multiinstrumentalist, der mit Künstler*innen wie Apsilon, Bazzazian, Casper, Jungstötter, Tristan Brusch und Lisa Morgenstern, sowie für das Berliner Ensemble oder das Nationaltheater Mannheim gearbeitet und nebenher klassische Auftragskompositionen geschrieben hat. Seine Musik vereint organische und elektronische Klangwelten – von neoklassischen Streichquartetten über Bedroom-Pop und Nujazz bis hin zu Kammermusik und futuristischen Beats. Sein aktuelles, drittes Album anyways.onto better things ist sein wohl intimstes, persönlichstes Werk. Mit Klavier, Synthesizern und Saxophon schafft er live emotionale Klanglandschaften.

Ralph Heidel is a composer, arranger, producer, sound researcher, and multi-instrumentalist who has worked with artists such as Apsilon, Bazzazian, Casper, Jungstötter, Tristan Brusch, and Lisa Morgenstern, as well as for the Berlin Ensemble and the National Theatre Mannheim. Alongside this, he has written classical commissioned compositions. His music blends organic and electronic soundscapes—ranging from neoclassical string quartets to bedroom pop, nu-jazz, chamber music, and futuristic beats. His current third album, anyways.onto better things, is probably his most intimate and personal work. With piano, synthesizers, and saxophone, he creates emotionally charged soundscapes live on stage.
