Join us outside Leinster House in Dublin on Thursday, 21 May as we call on the Government to act now on Marine Protected Areas.
We’re rallying to demand the urgent publication of long-promised MPA legislation, and real progress on the effective designation and management of protected areas at sea.
Ireland’s marine wildlife and ecosystems are under increasing pressure. Continued delays in delivering this critical legislation mean our seas are not being properly protected.
A healthy ocean supports all of us; our communities, our livelihoods, and our future. But without action, we risk losing what makes Ireland’s seas so special.
