Last year we tragically lost our friend and bandmate Robin Guy. It’sbeen a very hard time processing losing such a unique human and one of
the obvious questions is ‘what’s going to happen to the band?’. After
months of thought and discussion and with the encouragement of Robin’s
family we have decided to keep playing, keep creating and keep rocking
– for ourselves, for Robin’s memory and for all the fans who have
stuck with us through this crazy adventure.
We would like to announce that we will be playing the legendary 100
Club on Saturday 20th September, and also welcome our new drummer Joe
Holweger to Rachel Stamp. Joe has been a part of the Stamp family for
a long time – playing drums with Will and Shaheena in She Made Me Do
It. Joe and Robin were also neighbours back in the heady daze of the
90s, so Joe goes back with us a long way.
We hope you can make it to the show, to celebrate this band, Robin and
the spirit of rock and roll.
