Settle in for an evening of heartfelt songwriting and soul-filled storytelling as Wilson's Brewery welcome two exceptional performers to the stage, Adele Oliver and Rachel Laven.Raised in Broome, Adele Oliver brings the rugged spirit of the Kimberley to her earthy Alt-Country sound. Her songs blend honest storytelling with emotional warmth and a subtle grit shaped by life in the regions. With national radio play and the title of WAMs 2025 Songwriter of the Year, Adele has already won over audiences at festivals like Nannup Music Festival, Boyup Brook, and Nundle Rocks during Tamworth Country Music Festival ’25. Authentic, soulful and deeply engaging, she’s fast becoming one of WA’s most exciting new artists.
Joining her is Nashville-based Texan songwriter Rachel Laven, an Outlaw Folk artist steeped in the rich traditions of American storytelling. Inspired by legends like Brandi Carlile and Guy Clark, Rachel has been captivating audiences since childhood, writing her first song at age 10 and building a career defined by sincerity and craft. A winner of the prestigious Kerrville Folk Festival New Folk Songwriting Competition, she tours internationally with songs that explore love, loss, growth and resilience with warmth and honesty.
