FABRIC REQUIREMENTS-----
Choose your outer border first and then use it as a guide for selecting the other fabrics
-Outer border – 1 ¾ yards any print with multiple colors
-Inner border – ½ yard contrast is key, this is your frame
-¾ yard of 8 different fabrics – use the colors in your border print as a guide
These can be prints or tone on tone as long as they read as a single color from a few feet away
You can make 1 of the 8 be the same as your border fabric
Contrast is key
-Make sure at least one is lighter than the rest
-Make sure at least two or three are dark
-You only need to have 4 or 5 different colors, picking a light/medium and a dark shade of one or more of the colors as long as there is good contrast between each of your fabrics and one is lighter than the rest and 2 or 3 are darker than the rest
For example, 2 shades of green medium and dark, 3 shades of orange light medium and dark and one each of yellow, pink and red
