Quiet contemplationYin Yoga and Buddhist Meditation Practices for the FLINTA+ Community
Who are the FLINTA+ community? Female, Lesbian, Intersex, Non-Binary, Trans, Agender, + Allies.
A pre-holiday season pop-up series of consecrated time to draw inward. For 90 minutes weekly, throw a wide net around all of our preoccupations, ideas and aspirations, and nestle all of these in close. Breathe, and find silence, and inhabit that silence. Attend to all of the parts of ourselves that need care. These classes will offer a moment of deep, embodied connection with oneself.
Rae Vineberg is a beloved local yoga teacher, an early pioneer of Yin yoga in Montreal and a “CULT MTL Top 5” yoga teacher. They have been teaching yoga for more than 20 years and practicing for more than 30 years. Rae studied and trained with Hart Lazer, Lyne St. Roch, Sarah Powers, Pema Chödrön, Tim Olmsted, and was a direct student of Ken McLeod.
Classes will be offered in English and French.
There is a maximum of 20 participants per class.
Participants should be able to follow yoga instruction and practice, along with a basic understanding of breath awareness meditation (vipassana) and lovingkindness practice (mettā).
Folx must bring their own large, clean towel or shawl to each class. Other props will be provided.
22$ + tax per class.
60$ + tax for the series.
It is recommended to reserve your place online prior to class.
