The Swirled Cup Series: A 1976 Judgment of Paris Tasting 50th Anniversary Tribute
In celebration of the release of Andrea’s tribute documentary series The Swirled Cup revealing the 1976 tasting’s tables-turned impact, then and now, Quench will devote the next two episodes featuring the series themes and on-screen stars. Upcoming themes include:
“GOAT”-ed Grapes Series – This occasional series will explore what makes a grape among the Greatest of all Time (thus, a “GOAT”ed grape). Two of them – Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon – were the focus of the Paris Tasting. But, is there a reason, beyond than the fact that they underpin classic, collectible French wine appellations – in this case Burgundy, and Bordeaux? We’ll find out, together!
This month's live video podcast is the Chardonnay Taste Tour – What is it about Chardonnay? What makes it shine, both viticulturally and stylistically? Which ones age, and why? Who better to ask than David Ramey, one of the true GOATs of Chardonnay winemaking? Join us for a master class from the Chardonnay Maestro.

This is not a standard wine tasting. This is a masterclass in gastronomy.

While Napa offers hundreds of tasting experiences throughout the Valley, it is almost unheard of to have direct, intimate access to talent of this caliber in a single evening. This is your opportunity to bypass the standard tasting room script and learn directly from seasoned hospitality professionals.
