The Ink Drinker, which just opened this October in Ballard, is a cozy spot to kick back with your latest read, enjoy a bite to eat and a craft cocktail (or mocktail!) with minimal distractions (no TVs, no loud music, etc.), while surrounded by fellow book lovers.
Silent Book Club usually runs as follows:
- 6:00-6:15: Arrive, find seats, order drinks
- 6:15-6:30: Introductions (optional—share your name, pronouns, where you’re coming from, what you’re reading)
- 6:30-7:30: Silent reading time
- 7:30-onward: Socializing and potential post-book club activity (This part's optional—feel free to read and leave!)
Bring your book, order a drink, and settle in with fellow readers.
