About this Event

Join us for an intimate gathering at The Grounds - Café, Coworking - Events where we emphasise the power of storytelling and the importance of amplifying Black queer voices.

In honour of Black History Month, this event is a safe space for sharing, listening, and connecting with fellow individuals who are unapologetically themselves, and learning opportunities for allies, who we welcome with open arms!

Join us for an exclusive interview with Lailah Muscat (BBC’s “I Kissed A Girl”), performances with local poets Mally and MERKI, and a guided meditation with TheTodayGoddess, to raise money for the grassroots organisation QueersForPalestine

Envelope in an evening dedicated to the courageous stories and vibrant expressions of Black queer individuals, celebrating the boldness of being unapologetically true to oneself. Celebrating the wide-ranging experiences and identities within the Black queer community, focusing on diversity, and inclusion, we aim to create a brave and safe space for overlapping, unique intersections of race, gender, sexuality and its relationship to other social identities.

Come ready to engage in thought-provoking discussions, enjoy captivating performances, and build lasting connections. Let's come together to honor and uplift the powerful voices and stories of Black queer individuals. See you there!
