About this Event
Queer for Queers is a fundraiser hosted and created exclusively by queer women to support young queer people facing homelessness and hostile living situations. We’re coming together as a chosen family for those who don’t have one and who urgently need community and care.
Expect an evening of brilliant live music and a bar crossover like you’ve never seen before. Incredibly talented female bartenders from your favourite East London neighbourhood spots — including Equal Parts and Satan’s Whiskers — are curating a special menu just for this event. Breakout artist Eden J. Howlles will perform exclusive songs from their new EP, supported by other outstanding acts.
All ticket sales will go directly to AKT (Albert Kennedy Trust), a charity dedicated to keeping young queer people safe, housed, and supported during moments of crisis. In addition, £1 from every drink purchased will also be donated. Sara’s Threads, a queer-owned clothing shop, will host a small pop-up featuring some of their most loved pieces, with every purchase contributing to the fundraiser.
