Come along for an afternoon of movement, rest and healing filled with queer joy and connection!
About this Event

Queer Embodied Movement to Sound Journey combines somatic movement, dance and expression with resting and healing sound of Tibetan Sound Bowls.

This journey is a 2 hour workshop, opening with introduction, connection and presence, tea will be provided, slowly moving into a body scan of movement, through some stretches and grooves, to the peak, full body led movement and dance then closing with relaxtion, rest and healing sound from Tibetan Sound Bowls.

The Movement session will last around 40 minutes and the Sound around 35 minutes, with space to transition in between, as well as before and after to arrive, and then awaken. Space in between to share and connect with each other, if we feel called and have the spoons!

this is a queer event for members of the LGBTQ+ community, queer, trans and gender diverse people. We have zero tolerance policy on any hateful or offensive behaviour. If you do not align with these values, please do not attend.

embodied movement can be nerve wracking if it is your first time. But you will be surrounded by kind souls, creating a safe space for you to move your body & dance as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. This class is a shorter form, slower paced version of my Queer Embodied Movement wokshop, so if you ever wanted to join one but have felt overwhelmed, this is the perfect place to start.

what to expect:

- a safe space to shake it all off

- no experience needed

- fully led ecstatic dance and expression
