About this Event
We will be discussing Mx. Yaffa's poetry collection, Desecrated Poppies, and their essay collection, Whispers Beneath the Orange Grove. These works explore the theme that everyone's liberation is interconnected, which is especially relevant given the political situation in the United States. We encourage you to purchase and read the books in advance, but they will also be for sale at the event! You can buy them by supporting local bookstore, Petals and Pages, or reaching out to Poets for Palestine Denver for a copy!
Registration is free, with the option of leaving a donation. All proceeds raised will go to queer and trans mutual aid. You can also support by subscribing to Yaffa's patreon! https://www.patreon.com/Yaffasutopia
