Quasar begins.As a music & arts concept born in Antwerp, Quasar seeks to bring different artistic worlds into one shared space.
Where others only see music, we see something broader. With Quasar, we approach every gathering as a multidisciplinary event, connecting local and international artists.
For this first edition, we collaborate with Het Bos. The night features a live performance by Gong and Onionfuzz, followed by an eclectic afterparty curated by Quasar with a selection of DJs.
Alongside the music, Quasar presents a small art expo, bringing together visual artists whose work highlights the atmosphere of the night.
With every edition, we aim to immerse our audience into the environments we create. That’s why Quasar announces Gino as our official decorator, highlighting our artists through unique installations specifically designed for this edition.
But of course, that’s not all.
Quasar welcomes curious listeners, artists and night wanderers alike.

GONG
Een van de meest eigenzinnige en invloedrijke bands uit de jaren zeventig die in een immer metamorfoserende samenstelling al 50 jaar lang werelden schept met een mikmak van van rock, jazz en psychedelica.
Vandaag gaan ze de hort op met hun nieuwe album Bright Spirit, een meer dan Gongwaardige toevoeging aan hun impressionante catalogus van 30 studio albums.

ONIONFUZZ
Deze vierledige psychedelische rockgroep uit Leuven zag 10 jaar geleden het levenslicht op een middelbare school. Doorheen hun eclectische repertoire weerklinken echo's van Tool tot Miles Davis. Harde drums, vette baslijnen, lijpe ritmes, verrassende harmonie… Onionfuzz’ muziek is als een goed schilderij: gelaagd!
