Oh yesWe've never done a headline Curtin show and it feels very nice to be doing one to launch the new album. Will have a bunch of special guests to help do the album properly too. Car horns, exhaust pipes, spare parts etc.
Plus we have Emma Russack and Lachlan Denton (band) + The Brakes playing too. So even if you don't like our album they'll be so good.
I adore Emma Russack and Lachlan Denton's music and they're back playing with a full band which is just the best. Top of the list of who we wanted to play this show.
I never really sing back to bands at shows, but I yell "down in the dirt" so loud every time I'm at a Brakes show. A real itch scratcher of a band. Also car themed. Obvious choice really.
Jet and Erik are gonna DJ downstairs afterwards too. We literally can't do any more for you.

Fronted by songwriter Francis Tait, ‘One Hundred Million’ is another showcase of Tait and his band’s excellent songwriting ability, delivering 10 new tracks of their signature alt-country, garage pop, americana and art-rock. Slowly refining their craft in a live setting, the band return with an even more developed sound than their previous releases, committing to their shared vision, adding a horn section and pipes, and lyrically tackling a theme that almost makes it feel like a concept album.
Quality Used Cars have always tackled lyrical songwriting with a sense of being down on your luck, an injection of humour, and also a gratefulness to life despite the hardships. One Hundred Million refines their craft perfectly, as they expand instrumentally to create an astonishingly memorable and mature third record.
