About this Event
Join Emily Provance as she facilitates a second series for the Quaker Leadership Cednter for Quaker Trustees Training.
The first session will be on Narrative Budget, led by Colin Saxton of Everence:
Too often, our organizational budgets become a necessary nuisance—something we turn to once a year to project anticipated income and expenses or as a monthly reminder to balance and report on our financial situation.
Of course, budgets are much more than this. Used well, they help us execute our missional priorities and serve as a moral document through which we declare our intentions about how we will invest our time, talent, and treasure.
But what if they could serve us even better?
Join us on January 16 for an exploration and conversation around narrative budgets and their use as a source of inspiration, a storybook to communicate our purpose and priorities, and an invitation to partner with those who share our passion for doing good in the world.
Subsequent sessions will be on the third Thursdays in February - May.
