DJ: Qoi (Kauai)
Qoi is an eclectic multi genre DJ and producer from Kauai sharing her music over all the seas. Qoi delivers a uniquely beautiful experience and takes you on a journey through deep rhythms, meldodic sounds and vibrations.
Contact Improv: Kyra & Aaron Cantor are co-teaching
Kyra has taught various forms of dance for 20 years. Deeply caring about folks cultivating their authentic style & revitalizing their spirit with rhythmic movement. Kyra engages in improvisational practices to get back to the accidental & pure transcendental states. Aaron Cantor is a freestyle embodiment and movement expert with over 25 years of experience in the field. He grew up in Japan and Brazil, and has traveled the world, learning from a variety of teachers and movement experts. Aaron has taught in the US and internationally, and works through a variety of game-play, movement, and story-telling-based methods. He is currently hosting week long residencies in Western Massachusetts & the Bay Area. AaronJusticeCantor@gmail

Geneva Bybee is a movement and visual artist with a passion for producing conscious events. With training in numerous dance and yoga techniques, she is here to offer her natural ability to hold space, facilitate positive change and offer support to the community. Geneva has been involved with the Ecstatic Dance Community since the Bay Area beginnings. She was one of the facilitators of Missoula’s Ecstatic Dance for several years.

Ecstatic Dance is a Freeform Conscious Dance, Mixed by a Seasoned DJ for a Continuous Sonic Journey. Move however you wish, without verbal guidance, shoes, or booze. Music will flow through various Tempos, Genres, Intensities, and Emotions, so that Dancers may Experience, Express, and Transform their own Energies on the Dancefloor Together.
Ecstatic Dance can be your:
1. Physical Exercise
2. Mental Therapy
3. Connection to Spirit
4. Social Connection with Others
5. Personal Connection with Self
We only ask that you refrain from:
1. Talking on the Dancefloor
2. Using your Phone
3. Wearing Shoes
4. Using Substances (Be Yourself!)
