Overview
Our Founder, Ted Gong, will present on his family geneology books and the significance they hold for others doing their own family history research. He will also discuss the traditions of Qing Ming.
More about the Presenter
Ted Gong is a retired foreign service officer who started the 1882 Foundation in 2011 as a means to recieve a statement of regret from Congress for the passage of the 1882 Chinese Exclusion Act. After receiving the statement from Congress, the Foundation has transitioned to producing educational materials and hosting monthly events, titled Talk Story, under Ted's guidance.
Tea and light refreshments will be provided.
