Our guest speaker this week is CEO of The Restore Trust, Suzanne Thompson.
The Restore Trust focuses on supporting individuals with complex needs and criminal convictions, as well as anyone in the community facing barriers to training and employment.
Located just a short distance from Gloucestershire Cricket Club in Bristol, The Restore Trust was established by Suzanne, with backing from the board of Avon & Somerset Probation Trust, in partnership with the National Offender Management Service. The organisation was registered as an independent VCSE in 2010.

Many of The Restore Trust's clients deal with challenges such as homelessness, mental health issues, substance abuse, and offending behaviour. The organisation takes pride in its non-judgmental, person-centred approach, which aims to boost clients' confidence, motivation, and inspire positive change in their lives.
Specialising in criminal justice, The Restore Trust is dedicated to helping individuals with lived experience of the justice system successfully reintegrate into society. Their range of services includes careers advice and guidance, which is central to their support offerings.

In addition, Suzanne has founded a charity called The Key - Unlock Potential, which will soon open a café on Gloucester Road, offering paid transitional employment placements for individuals leaving prison to help them secure sustainable work.
We have a change of venue for this week’s session. Lockleaze Sports Centre will be hosting us at their beautiful grounds once more.
Join us to hear about the incredible work Suzanne does at 11am. Following on from our walk and talk around Lockleaze Sports Centre with fellow members and complimentary teas and biscuits at 10am.
Everyone’s welcome at this FREE event, no need to book!
