Our guest speaker this week is Netherlands International Cricketer, Paul Van Meekeren.In 2013 Paul made his international debut for the Netherlands and over the past decade has represented his country at five ICC T20 World Cups in USA/West Indies 2024, Australia 2022, UAE 2021, India 2016, Bangladesh 2014.
Paul is the Netherlands leading wicket taker of all time in T20 internationals, with 80 wickets. He also represented the Netherlands at the ICC ODI World Cup in India 2023.
Paul has played County Championship Cricket with Somerset, Durham and Gloucestershire, as well has having played in the Bangladesh Premier League with Khulna Tigers, and the Canadian Global T20 with Vancouver Knights. Paul was integral in forming the Dutch Cricketers’ Association (DCA), which he currently leads.
