
About this Event
Functional movement whole body training involves using a combination of body-weight exercises, light weights employed in natural, full body movements, and natural movements designed to build strength across your whole body, while also building cardio capacity, and core strength. Classes are fun, challenging, and focus on balancing cardio, core strength, and upper body, hip & leg strength.
FIRST CLASS FREE: Your 1st class is free, and then you can decide whether to pay by the class, buy a 10 class pass, buy a month of classes, or auto-pay $45/month for unlimited classes.
INSTRUCTOR BIO: Ama Elsirafy
Amatollah Elsirafy, is a Certified Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OT) as well as a newly Certified Personal Trainer. Ama has been devoted to helping and motivating others on their health journey while striving to improve client quality of life. She has experience working with individuals and groups across the lifespan, from infant care to hospice care. Utilizing therapeutic use of self, she promotes client engagement in daily activities most meaningful to them and in the healthiest way possible. Her background in upper extremity rehab, task analysis, and holistic practice allows her to incorporate such skills in her fitness career.
She knew early on that traditional sports were never her strong suit but she wanted to find a means to stay active in a fun way! She started her physical health journey through pilates and yoga, developing a new found passion for fitness. She loves to challenge herself by engaging in various forms of fitness such as Muay Thai, calisthenics, HITT, powerlifting, boxing, hiking, and salsa dancing
