Q is for Questioning Denver (March 5th & 12th)

Envision:You is excited to launch Q is for Questioning in Denver with La Alma Rec Center! This workshop is designed to help trusted adults (parents, guardians, coaches, teachers, social workers, and others) who live with, work with, and/or mentor LGBTQ+ youth create more affirming environments and relationships for the youth they care about. We ask that all attendees commit to attending both workshops if they are able, on March 5th & March 12th from 5:30 to 8 PM MST. Workshops will be facilitated by a licensed mental health professional, a peer co-facilitator, and a member of Envision:You's staff. These workshops are completely free to attend, and will be a judgment-free zone, so if you're not yet sure how you feel about the LGBTQ+ community or your child's identities, this is a space for you!

Attendees can expect to learn about the LGBTQ+ community, the challenges that LGBTQ+ youth are facing today, affirming language and relationship-building skills, resources available for you and LGBTQ+ youth, and helping with processing complicated feelings you may be having about the LGBTQ+ youth in your life. The workshops will be interactive, so come prepared to have conversations, ask questions, and build community with other folks in the region who are all trying to create more accepting and affirming spaces for LGBTQ+ youth.
