About this Event
Participants must have a valid Toronto Public Library card to attend the learning circle.
Interested in learning Python? Let's take a free online course together in a welcoming space!
Python is a computer programming language used by startups and tech giants alike, including Google, Facebook, Netflix and more.
In this six-week learning circle, we will work through dedicated course content together. The Python Essentials 1 course from the OpenEDG Python Institute teaches in-demand computer programming skills, including how to design, develop, and improve computer programs using the Python programming language.
We will meet online every Tuesday afternoon, January 7 - February 11, 2-3:30 PM. The meeting link will be shared once your library card is validated and your registration is confirmed.
Participants are expected to commit to the duration of the course and attend all learning circle sessions.
Learners who complete the course will be able to:
- Earn a digital badge
- Download a certificate of completion
- Receive a 20% discount for the PCEP certification exam
