Michael Nunez, State & Local Tax Director: Michael brings more than 30 years of experience in the area of state and local taxes in the manufacturing and distribution, medical device, e-commerce, software, SAAS, and high technology industries. He has served a variety of clients in formulating and implementing strategies to help them minimize state tax liabilities and exposure. Michael counsels multi-national and multi-state businesses for a variety of state and city level taxes including franchise, income, sales and use, personal and real property, gross receipts, and local taxes. Specifically, he works with clients to implement state strategies for tax minimization, nexus reviews, tax amnesty programs, and multistate tax compliance. In addition, he counsels clients on the state tax aspects of business acquisitions, mergers and dispositions, and the day-to-day operations of business.
