About the Workshop:
Learn the ancient art of decorating eggs using the traditional batik (wax-resist) method. Participants will use simple, primitive tools to “draw” intricate designs onto eggs with beeswax before dyeing them in layers of color.
This method has been used for generations to create the highly admired Ukrainian Pysanky eggs, known for their detailed symbolism and stunning patterns.
No prior experience is needed. This workshop is beginner friendly and guided step-by-step.
