Join us for our traditional Ukrainian Easter Egg Pysanka Workshop!Sunday, March 22nd, at 2:30 pm!
*Pysanka is a Ukrainian Easter egg, decorated with traditional Ukrainian folk designs using a wax-resist method. The word pysanka comes from the verb pysaty, "to write" or "to inscribe," as the designs are not painted on, but written with beeswax.*
All supplies are provided.
Children 10 years old and older are welcome. Because we will be working with an open flame - and real raw eggs! - children should be supervised by an adult.
Suggested registration fee: $45 ($30 for TUCA members)
Our creative workshops are the primary way to contribute to our ongoing fundraiser for Ukraine Aid. We regularly receive requests for humanitarian and medical supplies assistance. When you sign up and attend our workshops and social events - you immerse yourself in learning Ukraine's heritage while at the same time extending a helping hand in times of need.
