“Throughout the course of the year the Church unfolds the entire mystery of Christ,” his passion, death, resurrection, and ascension into heaven (Universal Norms on the Liturgical Year 1). Through baptism, we are missioned to share the Good News of salvation, but in order to do so, we must enter fully into the paschal mystery of Christ, which is revealed in the daily and yearly cycle of liturgical prayer. In this workshop, Timothy A. Johnston, M.A., Director of the Office of Worship for the Archdiocese of Washington, will use art, song, and poetry, to help participants reflect on Christ’s paschal mystery and begin to discover liturgical spirituality.Note: This workshop is eligible for Level I (Basic) Ministry Certification Renewal Credits in Liturgy and Sacraments.
