About this Event
Who are you and why are you here?
Our character describes how much our thoughts and behaviors align with our personal identity or purpose and values. In other words, we have a character gap when our mindset and behavior do not align with our God-designed purpose. As long as we're on this earth, each of us will have a character gap, but are we intentionally growing in our character each day? More importantly, are we a tree that simply bears leaves (is healthy) or bears its fruit for the benefit of those around us (is flourishing)?
Our most meaningful personal and professional relationships prioritize character and values over skills and knowledge, but being a person of character begins with understanding who you are and describing in detail your personal values. Do you have a mission statement and personal values? If so, when was the last time you revised them? Does your personal mission define what you want your life to have been about? Is your life flourishing right now? Are you along for the ride in life, just reacting to your calendar, inbox, and life pressures? Or are you actively cultivating and bearing the fruit God made you to flourish in?
The Purpose Built Retreat covers character principles, growth mindset, correlations of business and relational health to values integration, and culminates in developing personal identity statements and growth plans that will inspire and guide you for decades to come. These understandings are especially useful for individuals approaching life pivots in career and family.
We love presenting this weekend workshop to young individuals just entering their college or career, young married couples just beginning their families, and seasoned folks discovering their new identities as empty nesters. We also love presenting this workshop together at Kinected--an intimate setting for a limited number of attendees. We hope you can join us!
