About this Event
PJ Library Northwest Contra Costa, Tkiya, and Jewish Gateways are celebrating Purim with a Party in the Park! Join us for music, snacks, books, and more fun as we get ready for Purim. Customes encouraged, but please come in what's comfortable for you! This is an all-outdoors sensory-friendly Purim party for young families.
3-3:30 pm: Arrive, play, nosh, schmooze
3:30-4 pm: MUSIC WITH TKIYA!
4-4:30 pm: Wrap up crafts and playtime
Location: We will be at a picnic area on the playground side, in the vicinity of Abbie Lane and Nevada Flats. Follow the signs, and also keep an eye on email/WhatsApp for a final location around 2:15 pm the day of the event.

Accessibility: Please note that some cell phone carriers have spotty cell phone service in the park. The park has wheel-accessible paths for strollers, wheelchairs, wagons, etc. In order to get to a specific picnic area, you may encounter packed dirt or grass. Accessible public restrooms are available. Music will not be loudly amplified. Ear defenders/ear muffs welcome.
