Public Disco, the Vancouver non-profit bringing underground electronic music into public space since 2017, opens its 10th season with a free, all-ages two-day block party beneath the Granville Bridge. Friday is curated by Brendocha, moving through salsa, dembow, guaracha, and Latin tech, with guest selectors from Montreal, roaming salsa lessons, and live dance performances. Saturday shifts into disco and house, curated by 2flowers, with groove-led sets that build steadily through the evening.
Lot 55 opens into a full weekend hangout with licensed bars, food vendors, shaded seating, and family-friendly activities, with plenty of room to move between the dance floor and the rest of the island. It's also the debut of Public Disco's limited-edition 10-Year Merch Collection. No tickets, no barriers, just show up and enjoy with friends new and old.
