Workshop Overview

About the Instructor
Henry Kandel has taught Psychedelic Yoga to thousands of students through their Meetup community (3,200+ members) and workshops at the Brooklyn Psychedelic Society. For the past three years, they have provided pro-bono harm reduction education through Psychedelic Yoga instruction. Their background includes 30+ years teaching physics, astronomy, and improvisational theater, and development of Ketamine-State Yoga, a specialized approach that has been taught to therapists, doctors, and practitioners worldwide. Their studies in various yoga traditions, particularly pranayama and Tibetan Dream Yoga, inform their approach to supporting intentional work with non-ordinary states. As an experienced didgeridoo player, they incorporate sound healing elements that deepen the practice experience.
