House of Yes is about to get taken over by Brazilian theater company — turning the building into a straight-up Brazilian Carnaval extravaganza. Dust off the costume, add glitter like you mean it, and bring that “I came to party” energy.
Soundtrack to your Carnaval persona:
🔥 DJs Greg Caz, Gaspar Muniz, Tietta, Victoria Mussi and Lara Gerin spinning a full range of Carnaval beats (aka: you will not stand still).
🥁 And then—BOOM—authentic Samba Reggae from Bahia with drum group Mambembé, featuring Marcos Costa + more TBA.
You’ll refuel with delicious Brazilian food to keep you powered up, including vegan + gluten-free options.
And because Group Dot BR never does “just a party”… expect theatrical touches all day and night: iconic Carnaval characters, dance, and performances appearing when you least expect them. Hint: the firsts to arrive always get a special treat!
Plus: dive into Brazilian art presented by Angelica Walker Projects, and learn to move like you mean it with a Brazilian dance workshop led by Angelita Sorlando.
Costumes are encouraged but not required. Want a glow-up and upgrade the looks on arrival? Hit the free makeup + costume station. Need help nailing the look? Free makeup by Luísa Galatti from 3–5PM. Costume inspiration here.
Family Fun Alert: 3–6PM kids are welcome with a legal guardian and kids under 12 years old don’t pay—bring the little ones for an afternoon of music, dance, joy, and confetti. Free for kids under 12. Please note: After 6PM this will be a 21+ only event.
