About this Event
Join us for a revitalizing yoga session at the White Water Center, located on the South Ridge, from 9:30-10:30 AM. Led by Kat Shuler, Founder and Executive Director of Citizens Alliance for Psychedelic Science (CAPS). This event features a Slow Flow—A slower paced flow for beginner to intermediate yogis. This class is perfect to turn inward, alleviate stress, and restore energy levels. Please bring water, your own yoga mat, or arrive early to rent one for $5 at the Guest Service Location. The session will take place rain or shine, ensuring a unique and immersive experience regardless of the weather.
Psyche and Soma Slow Flow Yoga is a gentle and introspective practice that harmonizes the mind (psyche) and body (soma). This class emphasizes mindful movement and deep, intentional breathwork, allowing participants to explore the subtle connection between their mental and physical states. The slow, flowing sequences are designed to cultivate a meditative experience, facilitating a deeper awareness of the present moment and fostering a sense of inner peace. Perfect for those seeking a restorative and contemplative practice, this class offers a serene space for self-discovery and holistic healing.
Kat Shuler is a seasoned yoga practitioner, instructor, well-being, and microdosing coach. Her passion for yoga began a decade ago when she discovered its transformative power in her life. Through CAPS, she has dedicated herself to guiding others on journeys of self-discovery and inner peace, using yoga as a powerful tool for integration, mental health, and overall well-being.
CAPS is dedicated to exploring consciousness together, believing that understanding different states of awareness of the mind, body, and soul can lead to personal and collective transformation. By fostering a community that strives for an expansive state of consciousness, CAPS aims to deepen self-awareness, bridge gaps with the metaphysical world, and enhance our collective understanding of consciousness. Through the responsible use of psychedelics, meditation, and other well-being practices, CAPS seeks to create a more vibrant, enlightened, and interconnected world.
This yoga event is offered at no cost. However, if you do not have an annual parking pass for the White Water Center, you will need to purchase a day parking pass upon arrival ($12 or $25 for oversized vehicles). While the event is free, CAPS graciously accepts donations. Please contribute what you can to support our community and help us continue bringing events like this to the public. Donations can be made on Givebutter or Venmo with the caption "CAPS Yoga at WWC."
Join us for this enriching experience, where we will use yoga as a tool to integrate psychedelic experiences, promote mental health and well-being. We look forward to sharing this journey with you!
