This workshop will focus on composing Runner poems, poetry meant to be read aloud with your audience. Participants will learn about and practice the mechanics of leading the attendees of a reading in the communal delivery of a poem. This workshop will cover best practices and history of collaborative and communal poetry. Poets will leave with pieces ready to be performed in the round with their audience at their next reading.

About the Instructor: Kelsea Brunner is a poet and multimedia artist from the abyssal prairies of Nebraska with 10 years of experience hosting workshops, galvanizing artist communities and instigating poetry. Her first chapbook Late Stage Cowgirl was released by Bone Machine Press, she is the founder of Poetry is a Team Sport and publishes at kelsea.substack.com and can be found online at Kelsea.art.
