Family Child Care Environment Rating Scales – Activities

This beginning level training will introduce Family Child Care Providers to the Environment Rating Scales (ERS) by taking a closer look at each area of the scale independently. Providers will gain insight to the different parts of the scales, what makes them developmentally appropriate, and the reason for (the WHY) behind the requirements. Working in large groups, small groups, and individually, providers will have time to ask questions and gain confidence in their understanding of what is expected of them during the QR process.
