Trans Day of Visibility is a time to celebrate the strength, resilience, and accomplishments of transgender and nonbinary individuals. This year, we’re taking action early and gathering to demand visibility, justice, and equality. On Sunday, March 30, 2025, we’ll gather at 1:00 PM at Federal Plaza in Chicago for a protest that’s more than just a community gathering for an early TDOV, it’s a call for action. Hosted by Trans Up Front and Indivisible Chicago.*Click add ticket for the Mobilize page to continue to get updates and emails! Know someone not on facebook? Share Mobilize!
What’s at stake
The MAGA right, the Republican led Congress, and the Trump administration have targeted transgender and nonbinary people with hate filled policies, executive orders, and disinformation. As a result we face increased discrimination, violence, and the erosion of our rights. From healthcare access to legal protections, our trans community needs to be seen, heard, and supported now more than ever. We call on all of the LGBTQ+ community and all of our allies to join together to demand equality, dignity and protection of our rights. This protest will amplify our collective voice and demand meaningful change.
What to expect:
*Powerful Speakers including trans activists, community leaders, and allies
*A March for Justice through the streets of Chicago to show solidarity and strength
*Solidarity to celebrate our community while rallying for our rights
Call to Action: This protest is more than just a visibility event, it’s a demand for change. Stand with us as we march for the rights and dignity of transgender and nonbinary individuals everywhere. Bring your signs, your voices, and your energy, and help us send a powerful message that we will not be silenced. We will show up, we will be seen, and we will be heard. This is our moment to rise together.
March with us, speak up, and take action! Let's make our presence felt and show that we are a force to be reckoned with.
