1. Two municipal lots on North Front Street that are walking distance
2. Dietz Stadium, also walking distance
3. Metered parking right near the protest spot
Protest Guidelines:
1. Keep sidewalks clear — Allow pedestrians to pass safely without obstruction. Stay off private property unless invited.
2. Stay on topic — Keep conversations and signage focused on the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project, not on unrelated political debates.
3. Be respectful — Remain calm and courteous, even when challenged. Avoid confrontation or shouting matches.
4. Follow all laws — Obey traffic signals, crosswalks, and any instructions from law enforcement.
5. Leave no trace — Dispose of trash properly and leave the area cleaner than you found it.
