About this Event
Fatty liver disease now affects an estimated one in four adults in the United States, and many people have no idea they have it. Left unaddressed, it can progress to more serious liver conditions including cirrhosis. The good news is that many of the contributing factors are manageable with the right knowledge and support.
Join Dr. Michael J. Gilbert, MD, MHCDS, of Monadnock Gastroenterology Associates (MGA), along with Dr. Robert Catania and Dr. Brett Baker of the Southern New Hampshire (SNH) Weight Management team, for an informative evening on liver health. Dr. Gilbert will explain how fatty liver develops, what signs to watch for, and how it can progress if left unaddressed. The program will also include a discussion from the SNH Weight Management team on medical and surgical weight management options available for those seeking additional support.
