Join us for our hourlong lunchtime brown bag training on protecting children from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree smoke.
About this Event

This 1-hour brown bag training session will teach and explore the definitions of each 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree smoke caused by tobacco use. Participants will learn where each degree of smoke comes from, what they each mean, and the depths of their infiltration into the air and/or various surfaces. Additionally, by the end of the training each participant will be able to explain how 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree smoke each impact children and their health in dangerous ways.

Who Should Attend: This training is designed for administrative and/or clinical staff of Alameda County Public Health Department-contracted provider organizations and Alameda County Behavioral Health-contracted substance use treatment and mental health programs. However, any and all staff are welcome to attend.

Format: This training will be held virtually, and registration is required. After registering through Eventbrite, you will be sent the Zoom meeting details.
