Ohio’s First AOPA Fly-In Event to TakeFlight at Props and Pistons Festival
Akron, Ohio – The Props and Pistons Festival is honored to announce that it has been selected as the host venue for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) Fly-In event
in 2025. This prestigious gathering will mark the first AOPA Fly-In event ever held in Ohio, drawing an estimated 400 to 500 aircraft to Akron-Fulton Airport, August 16-17th, and transforming the city’s
skies into a showcase of aviation excellence.
In addition to the impressive display of aircraft, AOPA will present a series of expert-led seminars and a world-class trade show, providing attendees with valuable opportunities for education, networking, and engagement with the latest innovations in aviation. The selection of Akron as the host city highlights its strategic location, with a significant number of AOPA members residing within a 500-mile radius.
